How does tension rest for you and your babee with a boost in milk supply sound?!

Then this workshop is for you. Soothe and boost your breast milk supply in this 3 Day infant massage series. Throughout the journey of postpartum recovery, touch becomes a healing balm, soothing the physical and emotional strains of childbirth too. But did you know infant massage has been shown to give you a boost in milk supply and the confidence in learning your babee. Massage has been shown to stimuli the milk making hormone prolactin and the milk ejector hormone oxytocin.

Each stroke is infused with tenderness and compassion, a testament to the profound beauty of the maternal journey beginning with skin to skin and breastfeeding.

Join us on Google Meet for live instruction, demonstrations, and the opportunity to practice with your own newborn. This 3 Day class involves two-way communication between the instructor and participants. The instructor will observe your massage techniques and make suggestions accordingly, so it is expected that all participants have their cameras on for the majority of the class.

Class Length: One session, 1.5 hours

What you will learn:

  • Benefits of infant massage for both parents and babees
  • Varying uses of infant massage
  • Bonding and attachment
  • Specific massage strokes
  • Babee's non-verbal cues: engaging and disengaging

Materials needed: A bed-sized pillow, a towel or blanket, and massage oil. Any food-based oil will be sufficient. (e.g. coconut oil, almond oil, grapeseed oil) Please wear comfortable clothing.

When to take this class:

All are welcome. Taking this class is safe after the birth of your babee. Ideally this class is for babies, 6 weeks or more before crawling.
