Hey, honey. I'm Jada. Wife and Mama of 2.

I am a native and resident of Atlanta, Georgia. I am a veteran wife and Mama of two energetic boys. I absolutely love the career I am in and wish I could have found this love sooner. I love family and entered into the postpartum well fed and loved that I felt every family should enter their postpartum themselves.. I attended APS school systems and studied in New Orleans for college after graduation. I continued my education here in Atlanta. I began in this field as a virtual assistant with mompreneurs as clients and it took off from there. On paper I'm a mom, but in real time I take it as a huge honor to raise a family and understand the value that I have as a nurturer and I never take for granted the responsibility ahead of me.

I am QUALIFIED to SUPPORT you...

Honey and honey's to be. That's how I see all birthing persons.. a spoonful of honey.

You see, birth, babees, breastfeeding and connections are my jam.

I started with a love I call Hey, HONEY!! and I’ve been doing this breast friend work for 5 years. My mission is inspired by the lack of support during my own journey and aims to drastically increase the generational health of Black and Brown communities through education and support surrounding birth and how it affects breastfeeding and the postpartum experience. My community work has awarded me national recognition as the 2020 Cultural Changemaker Award with the United States Breastfeeding Committee. I am currently a ROSE Community Transformer, the Secretary of The Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition and the founder of The Future of Lactation, a movement dedicated to increasing the presence of Black and Brown lactation professionals and IBCLCs in your community.

My mobile practice provides perinatal health services. I hold certifications as a Certified Maternal Health Consultant, Certified Maternal Child Community Health Worker, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, trained PSI Perinatal Moods Disorder Advocate, trained NBDA Birth Doula and self taught Postpartum Doula. As a full spectrum Doula, I have attended Spinning Babies workshops to efficiently learn labor and birth to work with parents preparing for childbirth, where breastfeeding initiation begins immediately after birth. I am a TOTs specialty trained practitioner utilizing the E3 model of care for oral assessments. Any complications out of my scope will be referred to a network of recommended providers for continuity of care.

Whew, I've been preparing to serve you, honey.

With this specialized training I provide my families with perinatal health literacy, emotional and physical support for continuity of care which creates relationships between providers, families and the communities they serve.

My MIND, BODY, BABEE model of care is a crafted individualized holistic approach to support the mental and perinatal health of honeys and their babees. The Milk + Honey expertise encourages caregivers to trust their instincts during pregnancy and utilizing integrative care for optimal postpartum health. I help families of all backgrounds have an informed pregnancy and birth, crush their breast or chest feeding goals and transition into a thriving postpartum experience. As a Maternal Child Health Coach, I think you deserve that too, honey.
