Meet Jada
An open letter to my honeys
I'm Jada, a maternal wellness practitioner with a passion for honoring the postpartum pause. I started with a love I call Hey, HONEY!! and I’ve been doing this breast friend work since 2016. My mission is inspired by the lack of support provided during my own breastfeeding journey and aims to drastically increase the generational health of Black and Brown communities through education and support surrounding birth and how it affects breastfeeding and the postpartum experience. My community work has awarded me national recognition as the 2020 Cultural Changemaker Award with the United States Breastfeeding Committee. I am currently a ROSE Community Transformer, former Secretary of The Georgia Breastfeeding Coalition and the founder of The Future of Lactation, a movement dedicated to increasing the presence of Black and Brown lactation professionals and IBCLCs in your community.

With certifications in lactation care, infamnt massage, and maternal health education, I create the Milk & Honey Co, for mothers and families who want more that checklists and hospital handouts-they want ritual, rest, and results. I am a TOTs specialty trained practitioner utilizing the E3 model of care for oral assessments. I have clinical experience of 1000+hours including experience with a local tongue tie center and supporting hundreds of babies with oral dysfunctions.

My MIND, BODY, BABEE model of care is a crafted individualized holistic approach to support the mental and perinatal health of honeys and their babees. The Milk + Honey expertise encourages caregivers to trust their instincts during pregnancy and utilizing integrative care for optimal postpartum health. I help families of all backgrounds but prioritize families of color to have an informed pregnancy and birth, crush their breast or chest feeding goals and transition into a thriving postpartum experience. As a Maternal Child Health Coach, I think you deserve that too, honey.
