What to Expect At an In Home Lactation Visit

Yes. breastfeeding shouldn't hurt, honey! Your lactation support will consist of a health history; a breast, nipple and oral anatomy assessment; a pre- and post-feed weight to determine milk transfer; discussion on calibrating supply; hand expression demonstration, inflammation and plugged duct reduction strategies, Fab FIVE latch and suck massage techniques, assessment of latch/positioning; assistance with breastfeeding aids: pumps, flange sizing and a lactation road map to help you meet your breastfeeding goals. I currently do not accept insurance and offer self pay options only. I do offer sliding scale fees. Please inquire here.​

Yes, your in home lactation service includes an 90 min consult, access to online graphics, a tailored care plan, two week follow up virtual, text, email, phone support. Book an additional in person follow up visit for $95 and/or text support for $25 per week.
