What This Service Does NOT Promise
Bodywork cannot guarantee labor will begin, prevent an induction, change your delivery outcome, or replace medical care.
Your due date and any decisions about induction, monitoring, fetal position, or medical treatment should be discussed with your maternity care provider.
Our role is different:
We support your comfort, relaxation, movement, body awareness, and preparation.
That distinction protects your client experience—and your business.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can bodywork induce labor?
No outcome can be guaranteed. Our sessions are designed for comfort, relaxation, movement, and birth preparation rather than promising to start labor.
Can I receive bodywork after my due date?
Eligibility depends on your individual pregnancy and health circumstances. We require an intake form to assess your pregnancy. We require appropriate clearance or coordination with your maternity care provider when contraindicated or medically necessary.
Is this the same as a regular prenatal massage?
No. Body & Babee is specifically designed around the physical and emotional needs of late pregnancy and birth preparation.
Can my partner participate?
Yes. We provide in Home services so partners can participate in your visit and lean self massage techniques. Partner-supported positioning, touch, breathing, and comfort techniques can be incorporated when appropriate.
What if I’m scheduled for an induction?
That’s exactly when preparation is valuable. Add the Induction Preparation Session to help you develop practical comfort and coping strategies before you arrive at the hospital.
