Breastfeeding can be challenging but with the right support, skilled care and encouragement you can obtain your breastfeeding goals. The Milk + Honey Company, LLC offers a variety of breast/chest feeding coaching sessions to assist you on your journey. We offer Virtual and In Home consultations and I will visit after you have your baby virtually at the hospital or at home to assist with breastfeeding initiation.
What happens during my consult?
When you book my services in person or virtually you will be sent an intake form at the time of booking. Your appointment will not be confirmed until the form is complete. This intake form will discuss you and your baby's personal information such as birth and medical history. All forms will be sent via a secure HIPAA compliant messaging platform. We will discuss any previous breastfeeding history and concerns you may have. I will monitor and assess latching and positioning techniques, assist with baby led breastfeeding and provide evidence based education. Our virtual consults last 30 minutes and will determine if you need in person support. If you are found to be in need of an In Home visit, I will deduct the cost of the virtual consult from your In Home visit if you book the appointment within 24 hours for the next available day. In Home visits typically last about about 90 minutes. Together we will come up with a care plan that will compliment your journey. If this plan is not working we can alter it to work for you. If more complicated issues are present we will refer you out to a local IBCLC. We will also send any records to physicians assisting you.
Virtual Consults - $40/20 min or $100/1 hr
IN HOME Visit - $125/ 1hr 30min
Pumping/Returning to Work Class - $40/45min
Monthly Breastfeeding Support Plans - $50/mo. and up
